{"id":1144,"date":"2022-02-28T07:31:00","date_gmt":"2022-02-28T07:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/samantha-project.eu\/?p=1144"},"modified":"2022-03-04T07:32:31","modified_gmt":"2022-03-04T07:32:31","slug":"the-samantha-project-allies-with-another-erasmus-project-in-the-field-of-additive-manufacturing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/samantha-project.eu\/?p=1144","title":{"rendered":"The SAMANTHA project allies with another Erasmus+ project in the field of Additive Manufacturing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>SAM project is a Sector Skills Strategy in Additive Manufacturing which has similar objectives with this initiative<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skills4am.eu\/index.html\">SAM project<\/a> is a Sector Skills Strategy in Additive Manufacturing which aims to tackle the current European need for developing an effective system to identify and anticipate the right skills for the Additive Manufacturing (AM) sector demands in response to the increasing labour market needs, thus, contributing for the smart, sustainable and inclusive growth of the AM sector in line with the SAMANTHA initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The consortium, composed by 17 partners of which EWF is the coordinator, is strongly committed to support the growth, innovation, and competitiveness of the AM sector. The project is co-funded by European Commission, under the framework of the Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills call, launched by ERASUMS+ programme and will be finished by the end of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>SAM\u2019s main features are:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skills4am.eu\/outcomes.html\">Skills Strategy in Additive Manufacturing<\/a> providing solutions capable to foster and support the growth, the innovation and competitiveness of the AM sector;<\/li><li>A methodology for a sustainable and continuous assessment of current and future skills needs in AM trough the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewf.be\/sam\">Observatory in Additive Manufacturing<\/a>, providing just in time mapping and monitoring of the AM industry technological trends, skills shortages and mismatches, policies and figures;<\/li><li>Design, review and deployment of relevant qualifications in the AM sector, built with a learning outcomes approach and linked with EU Frameworks and Tools such as the EQF, e-CF, EntreComp, ECVocational Education and Training (VET) and ECTS;<\/li><li>Promotion of the attractiveness of the AM sector as a career choice for primary, general education, Vocational Education and Training (VET) and university\u2019s students Awareness Campaign in the field of AM;<\/li><li>One online Qualifications Catalogue to continuously update and enlarge the European AM Qualification System, integrating all the developed and to be developed sectoral qualifications.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover alignright has-background-dim\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"918\" class=\"wp-block-cover__image-background wp-image-1147\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/samantha-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Esquema-SAM_Stratigic-objectives_Alterac\u0327o\u0303es-08-1024x918.png\" data-object-fit=\"cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samantha-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Esquema-SAM_Stratigic-objectives_Alterac\u0327o\u0303es-08-1024x918.png 1024w, https:\/\/samantha-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Esquema-SAM_Stratigic-objectives_Alterac\u0327o\u0303es-08-300x269.png 300w, https:\/\/samantha-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Esquema-SAM_Stratigic-objectives_Alterac\u0327o\u0303es-08-768x689.png 768w, https:\/\/samantha-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Esquema-SAM_Stratigic-objectives_Alterac\u0327o\u0303es-08.png 1036w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Joint their next activities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAM is launching an online course to raise awareness on sustainability for AM , starting on the 24th of March.
